Puteri Elina Khir Annuar - Sweetest thing ever

I wouldn`t know  what life is like without this one too. I`ve never felt like I am a good friend to her because I admit I am not always by her side like she was to mine all the time. By all the time, I mean most of the time.

We were always meant to be separated but our hearts just never will. She did so much for me that I couldn`t see and "didn`t have the time" to repay all her kindness. May God bless her.

We started off enemies wayyyyyyyy back in 2008 when we were both 11. She was in the fourth class and I was in the third class. I will never forget the thing she said that made us be enemies. Let`s not pick up the old garbage trash tale and get to the point how we became such good friends.

Enemies to Besties

How in the world did that happen? I remembered I kinda swore to myself I`d never be friends with a girl like her. But I guess, He knows better than any of us. And I guess it was my young immature mind making immature decisions. 

Dear you, 

I have never shown the love I have deep inside my heart for you. Yet you`ve always searched for that one little spot of my love for you i.e. a picture of us as my wallpaper / do i still keep your keychain / do i still remember our favorite words we use to say / do i remember the sleepover we always have and the list goes on when you dont have to! You literally dont have to find a spot for yourself in my heart because you`ve one gigantic spot in it already! Effortlessly, i might add.

Maybe at times you might even think that I dont wonder anymore how are you doing, or what you have for lunch or what music you`re listening to. Its not that Ive turned ignorant, its just sometimes I love someone so much that I dont want them to know, because I dont want them to take granted of it. You, are one of them.

I don`t want you to be someone you`re not. Be who you are because I, Nur Aireen Syafiqah loves you for who you are. Without your crazy ass attitude, I wouldn`t feel like home when I`m around you. It was amazing to have you as one of the people I feel very comfortable with. You`re my sister when I dont have one. You need to know that I dont really show that I love the ones I love the most, you can ask my brothers if you want to. But I guess you dont have to since you know me so well. Come on darling. I love you for who you are.

You might not be on my wallpaper, you might not be the person I think about everyday, you might be the person that I dream of every once in a blue moon, but Puteri Elina Khir Annuar, if one day you`re not there by my side anymore,

Know that I will definitely fall down on my own knees. 

You`ve shed more tears for me than I have for you. I apologize for my behavior. 

but you also need to know the reason I dont cry when you do. Because if we were to strengthen each other, than we both cant be weak. When I was weak, you were strong. When you were weak, I needed to be strong for you. I dont want to let you down by crying with you. When all I needed to do is to be strong for you. Note the difference.

And if in the future I meet someone new, note that you are the bestfriend, the sister I have had earlier than anyone else. Remember the years we have together. Dont ever compare our friendship with someone in the future that you or I will meet. 

And if in the future you find a guy first than I will, then all I wish for you is happiness. But I never want you to forget us. I pray that I too, dont forget us. Getting into a relationship in the future might distance us in certain circumstances (like our one friend tu la - if you know who im talking about) However, I just want the best for you and I hope that guy you call "Boyfriend", would end up to be you "Husband". Amin.

As I have said, you are my home. When I come by to your house, I felt home. When I meet your mum, Im even happier to feel home. I love the fact how your mum welcomes me so much to your home. I`m sorry that my mum is a little different than yours, but at least you`ve met her. To talk of your dad, even better. To have your parents welcome me to your home makes me feel like I have the right to be there because they`ve treated me like you and I are sisters for eternity. I know this doesnt make sense, but just digest it, will ya?

Having you and Nadia is my most comfortable spot anywhere I go. To have our girls together makes it even better. I am happy that I know you. I am happy that we were once enemies. In fact I`m grateful. Because if we weren`t enemies back then, I dont think we would even be besties now. I pray for our friendship to last even longer. 

I love you, Elina. Thank you for all the times you`ve spent for me, for all the trust you have upon me, for all the laughs we shared together. Thank you. Im looking forward to more moments with you. Thank you for being a sister and such a good companion since we met. You taught me how to have fun when I`m such a still kid. Damn I miss dancing with you even though we dont know how to dance that well. 

Thank you darling. Thank you. Im looking forward to our future together. And also a picture of you riding a unicorn with your future boyfriend / husband.

Currently there is Strong Winds named "HURRICANE SANDY" which hit Mid Atlantic Coast. May Allaah protect all the people in there. Aameen.

Here is the Dua'a when there is strong Winds:

اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ خَيْـرَها، وَخَيْـرَ ما فيهـا، وَخَيْـرَ ما اُرْسِلَـتْ بِه، وَأَعـوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَـرِّها، وَشَـرِّ ما فيهـا، وَشَـرِّ ما اُرْسِلَـتْ بِه.

Allaahumma ‘innee ‘as’aluka khayrahaa, wa khayra mafeeha, wa khayra ma ‘ursilat bihi wa a’oodhu bika min sharrihaa, wa sharri mafeeha, wa sharri maa ‘ursilat bihi”.

"O Allah, I ask You for the good of this wind, for the good of what it contains, and for the good of what is sent with it. I seek refuge in You from the evil of it, from the evil of what it contains, and from the evil that is sent with it."

In a time of constant buying and selling, this ayah reminds us of the greatest contract we can ever be involved in:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ

Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. (9:111)

[The scholars say] “How outstanding is this contract! The buyer is the Rabb of Honor and Might, the purchase is the Soul, the merchandise is Jannah, the written contract is in the Highest Heaven, and the mediator is the Muhammad alayhi salaatu wa salaam.”

[Imam Hasan Al Basri states] “Look at the Generosity of Allah – souls that He has created and wealth that He has provided, then He granted it for them and He purchased it from them with this priceless contract–and indeed, it is a fruitful transaction.”

Sweet Nightmare

It was raining on Friday,

It was cold as ever,

That I need a blanket to cover,

Before I get a fever.

Oops, I slept.

Well, I actually had a nap.

Bam! I came to an unrealistic world,

What everybody would call it a dream.

The same old dream,

I guess it is “Dejavu”,

At the same old place,

I found you.

Cant see your face,

Don’t know your name,

Only know you`re beautiful and handsome,

Amazingly, I can still feel your love my dear stranger.

In the last dream,

I dreamt I lost you out of nowhere,

And this time,

We know we`re going to be apart again.

I tried my best to take him away and run with me,

Bring him to a place that wont separate us,

I was giving my maximum best,

But he wasn’t,

Its like he knew after all,

Wherever I take him,

Whatever happens,

He knew that we will still be apart.

I only had a day to spend,

For the things that break,

I need to mend,

And for that he leant me a kiss on my forehead,

Held my hand,

And take me away.

We ran and ran,

Ran from time,

Ran from whatever is taking him away from me,

But then we realized,

There`s no way out,

That we need to enjoy every second we have with each other,

He`s still going to leave no matter what,

So we stopped wasting time.

I know it’s a lifetime opportunity,

To find someone like him,

So I took out my camera,

Took so many great pictures of us,

But the camera didn’t seem to work out.

The pictures that came out,

Really wasn’t a picture of us,

It’s a picture of two trees,

With ripe fruits,

And its roots,

Joined together.

I had no idea what it meant,

So I cried and I cried,

As I can keep nothing of him to remember.

We had no time, no money,

So he held me tight,

We cuddled as long as we could,

Enjoying whatever moment is left.

At the end of the dream,

All I had from him is just memory,

One I hope that would never fade,

One I hope that would lead me to his strong love.

Unable to see your beautiful face,

Unable to know your mysterious name,

But im so grateful I get to spend my time with the lovely you,

So thankful that you made me believe in love.

I know you`re out there,

Somewhere,

God knows anywhere,

I hope He will lead us back to each other.
